About Nigerians Ruin Everything
Nigerians Ruin Everything is a half-serious public record of a very serious national pattern. Something useful or joyful appears. It works. Word spreads. Within months, the entire country has converged on it, and the thing that once worked is buried under the weight of its own popularity.
We are glad you love our title, haha. Fear not, Nigerians, most of the stories here begin with genuine ingenuity: an agent banking network that reached people banks ignored, a chef who cooked for four straight days and made the whole country proud, comedians who built an industry out of thirty-second videos. The ruin is rarely malicious. It is what happens when talent, hunger, and millions of hustlers share one economy.
Every entry aims to tell the full story: the good, the boom, the saturation, and whatever is left standing. Entries carry sources, and where a claim is still being verified, we say so. Public editing is planned. For now, you can send suggestions and corrections through the suggestion page.
